Vector Wars: Flash Game - So Simple, So Addictive
This is a perfect example of how simple and effective Flash games can be. You hold the mouse down and move the cursor to shoot orbs. Why the hell are we so intrigued by such simple concepts? I could sit here for hours and play this without getting bored. If I’m having fun, I am going to pass this to all my friends to enjoy as well. Commercial and viral possibilities? HELL YEAH!!! I like the bitmap blurring effect that was added as well, its a nice touch.
Guinness Tipping: An impressive layout of the whole interactive campaign
We worked with AMV-BBDO to produce the whole interactive side for Guinness Tipping and I must say that this presentation illustrates to the vastness of the campaign. A project can potentially be so large that a single slide cannot do it justice. We built everything that was internet related on this.
Damn you Line Golfer!!!

From the guy who brought you Line Rider, here comes Line Golfer. The game must be laced with crack cocaine because I couldn’t stop playing with it. At Wrigley’s CandyStand you can play other courses others have drawn or draw your own and submit it for consideration. The concept of the game incorporates multiple levels of genius; the simplicity, allowing others to build the courses for you, the addictiveness of it… don’t get me started. The game is built using APE, the flash Physics engine written by Alec Cove from what I understand. Very kool. It’s great to see people build on Flash technology that is out there. I guess that is why some thing like this is so inspiring for me. Let me know what you think.
HOLY MOLY!!! Most impressive 3D/VR Wii technology I’ve seen

The freaking Wii!!!! I couldn’t believe this when I saw it. The way the depth of field was being manipulated, I thought I was looking at some crazy hologram, but kooler. This could really make the user feel like they are emmerced in the experience. Hooking up the infrared lights in place of the LED lights on the glasses, genius! Imagine what could be done with this technology combining Flash and Papervison. This is the type of stuff that makes me wish I could spend the majority of my day doing lab work. His demo was not done in Flash by the way.
Incredibly Kool Flash Game - The Fancy Pants Adventure: World 2
I came across this today and was very impressed. Although the drawings are simple, the animations are incredible. I’ve always considered myself a connoisseur of 2D animation. I couldn’t believe how responsive the character is to the keyboard controls. Let me know what you think.
